<p>This is just a brief outline so far. Anyone think i got a chance at Rice/Baylor.

I am in a clinical rotation - i have hands on experience with patients and i have CNA certification so im surely interested in medicince for sure!!!

<p>Are you just a junior? You will have many more ECs to add next year if you are. You are probably a reach for Ivies if you are a senior. If you have time you could pull up your SATs some for Ivys. Vanderbilt and Duke are a possibility if your essays are good and make you really memorable.<br>

<p>I think you have a good chance @ Rice (and decent shot at the combined program). Ivies... really difficult to assess. I say you have a good shot at the "lower" Ivies but HYP might be more of a reach. Probably'll come down to the essays and recs.</p>

<p>That's OK if your recs are from prestigious doctors/etc, as you say, but it's far more important that your recommenders know you well and have worked closely with you than it is that they're famous or respected in their field.</p>
<p>youre in texas...you'll get in rice yeah...try Rice/Baylor Med program---probably the best deal in the country in terms of cost+prestige+guaranteed acceptance</p>
