<p>I used to think that Chance me threads are useless but I guess I will give it a try this time xD</p>

<p>GENERAL INFO
SAT score: 2370
SAT 2: taking it in October in Math II and Bio
GPA: 96 out of 100, ranked as 1 out of 600 or so
Highschool: Pretty prestigious in my country
Recommendation letters: English, Lit and Bio teacher. All of them know me pretty well and have high regards of me so I expect the letters to be good.</p>

<p>ACTIVITIES and such
My activities typically focus on environment and things like that. My major is envi science or biochemistry. I don't participate in any "prestigious" international organizations xD</p>

<p>Founded a club dedicated to environment in 2011 and have been very committed to it ever since.

International Science Competition (didn't get in the final round though) My project is also to protect envi

<p>I'm worried about my ECs. At first I thought commitment is vital but now a lot of people tell me that my ECs are pretty much pathetic and that unless I have joined amazing international groups I don't stand the ghost of a chance at HYP. Your thoughts please?</p>

<p>Hey guys I have currently passed +2 and thinking of applying to US universities. I wanted to know about the gpa system of US as we have percentage system here. I want to apply to Ivy league schools mostly and want to know if I qualify for them.</p>

<p>My SLC percent is 87.6%
11 - 74.6%
12 - 81%</p>

<p>P.S Our grading system here in Nepal are totally different as we are given marks on each subjects rather than grades. So how do they convert or compare grades of international students with US students? I am ranked 1 out of 100…</p>

<p>Test wise you definitely have as much of a shot as anyone else at HYPSM. I am not familiar with your country’s grading system, but seeing as you are Valedictorian, I am sure the Ivies will recognize this and put it into consideration. Your EC’s are not weak by any means. HYPSM schools are hard to get into for any international but you have a great shot as far as internationals go! Good luck. </p>

<p>I definitely think you have a good a shot as anyone. You’re valedictorian, that’s great. Your ECs are good and I think you should definitely have a good chance. Chance me?
