Did u take ACT, Harvard looks at ACT for sure, so do most of ivies and Stanford!

I am pretty sure it’s either SAT reasoning or ACT. I don’t think you need to take both. :S Regardless, can you still chance me?

And I’m also applying to Dartmouth.

bumpity bump bump

I think you’ll get into the last 5 schools on your list.

I’m not seeing ivies for a number of reasons–just OK IB scores, weak CR, no stand out EC, ORM from overrepresented country.

@Waverly Thanks for your valuable input. I was actually deferred from UPenn for ED and was wondering about my chances. I, at least, thought I had a fair chance at Cornell ILR. Or NYU Stern, Duke, and Northwestern.

I think you’ve got great stats (your IB predicted is slightly low but SATs count much more than IB predicted) and your EC’s are great. Shows that you’re not only well rounded but have a passion for service and music.

Here are my predictions:
Harvard - reach
Princeton - reach
Stanford - reach
Columbia - low reach
Brown - match/low reach
Cornell - match
Duke - match
Northwestern - match
NYU - Stern - match
Carnegie Mellon - match
Berkeley - match
UCLA - safety
USC - safety

Chance me as well please!

bump10char

Weaknesses: lack of awards, applying as international applicant, ORM
Strengths: SAT score & EC’s
Harvard - reach
Princeton - reach
Stanford - reach
Columbia - low reach
Brown - low reach
Cornell - match
Duke - match
Northwestern - match
NYU - Stern - match
Carnegie Mellon - match
Berkeley - match
UCLA - match
USC - match

Does Pacific Asian = Korean?

@schmohawk yes

bump10char

Well then, you are an ORM.

Pacific Asian calls to mind Samoan, or other Pacific Islander. Why not just say Korean?

I actually put Korean on common app. Thought pacific asian meant Korea. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Any more chances? Bump bump bump.

bump10hcar

bumpbumpbump

I think you can get into all of them, Harvard/Stanford are probably your reaches. But who knows you’ve got a shot at it! Goodluck.
