<p>^^ What do you all mean “great stats” and “very good stats”? The kid just started sophomore year, he/she has little to no “stats” yet. Even if he/she graduated #1 in his/her school, many of the top Ivies reject between 8-9/10 valedictorians. EC’s are okay so far but by senior year hopefully there will be some sort of passion evident. Otherwise, it’ll look as though the OP joined a lot of clubs just to look good on college applications - that is not how it works these days.</p>
