I am a High School senior outside of the U.S. and am trying to get into a top university in the U.S.

Here are my stats:-
GPA: 3.5 unweighted (School doesn't have a weighted GPA)
SAT: 1920 (Math 700- 93 percentile, Writing 690- 97 percentile, CR 530- low 60s)
SAT II: Math II 680 and Physics 630 (Keeping in mind I only started taking Physics in my senior year)
APs: 3 in Cal AB; Taking Physics C Mechanics and Calculus BC this year.
EC: Soccer for 3 years (School doesn't have a Varsity team), Several fund raisers for good causes, Organized 3 talent shows. Part of the school Knowledge Bowl Team. Top 3 in Science Fair for 2 years + am participating this year as well.
Note: I have mostly As, and very few A-s, in Science courses and straight As in all math courses. Small subjects like culture and foreign language and bringing my GPA down. And school does not offer any Honors, AP or IB classes and does not rank.

I want to major in Physics and want to go to an Ivy league school or MIT. Do I have a chance at all at any of the places? I know my grades and scores aren't good enough, but still. I have lived in 3 different countries, moved 6 times, and been to 9 schools. My essay is pretty much going to about this and how I will bring an international perspective to the campus. I'm already applying to some Safeties, but really am aiming for the top ones.

Give me any suggestions of top universities that offer 100% loan-free financial aid to international students, like the Ivy League universities if there are any. Thank you for your help.

It is much harder for international students to gain entry to colleges in the US, and with your GPA and test scores it is a very(very) long shot. The following schools meet full need for international students(however, some include loans and some are need aware.) As you’ll see, most of them are very hard to get into.

Most colleges see senior year for rigorous classes, not higher gpa. It would help a bit that it’s still high, but won’t affect the decision much. I’m like you, and international applicant (although I lived in the US for more than 10 years) so we both have it tough. Good luck though!

I know it’s not comprehensive, it’s missing Stanford and a few other places. Just to get the OP started since there’s a bunch of colleges with varying ranges of selectivity on there.
