chance me for Ivy

Hello everyone,

Do I have a chance to go to Princeton to study engineering?
What else should I do to increase my chance.

Define “Ivy”. Do you mean Harvard/Princeton/Yale, or are you considering other Ivies as well?

If only HPY, then I’d say you have as good of a shot as any other hyper-qualified applicant these schools get; it’s really just luck of the draw. The AMC and AIME stuff is nice, as is the Singapore Olympiad thing.

On the other hand, your stats would look much more impressive applying to Cornell ED (ED is important because it indicates to the college you don’t think of Cornell as a safety after HPY). If you don’t necessarily value one of the top Ivies, that would be a move to increase your chances of getting into a top school.

Thank you so much! Do all eight school have ED?

Harvard doesn’t have early application at all. Yale is early action, and all others are ED.
