<p>Hello everyone! I am a junior right now. My reach schools are Princeton , UPenn, Harvard, </p>

<p>General Info:
Gender: Female
Type of School: A Small Christian School and then transferred mid Junior year into cyber school so I could have more time to pursue music and flexibility to take college courses. I also wanted flexibility to work at an accelerated pace.
Region: A Suburb Close to Philly</p>

<p>Testing:
SAT: do not plan on taking
ACT: 33 composite
Eng-33
Math-32
Read-31
Sci-34
Writing- 8/12
SAT II: I plan on taking Math II and Literature </p>

<p>School:
GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 4.28 weighted
Class Rank: School doesn't rank.</p>

<p>I have taken the most rigorous curriculum possible at my school.
Freshman- I took all honors courses possible
Sophomore- all honors courses plus AP Psych (5)
Junior- all honors courses, AP Calculus AB
Senior- I plan to take BC Calc, AP Bio, AP lang and lit</p>

<p>Dual Enrollments </p>

<p>Latin- enrolled in an online course, currently in Latin II
I took the national latin exam. Fingers crossed!</p>

<p>Math- Applied to and was admitted to Stanford Online High School's class, "Introduction to Mathematical Thinking" (only 16 people admitted worldwide)</p>

<p>Community College Courses: a history course this year, probably 2-3 more next year</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:</p>

<p>Classically Trained in Piano (will submit arts supplement to Princeton) for ten years. Applied for and participate in master classes, honors recitals, a summer seminar at New England Conservatory, won a couple minor awards, school jazz band, accompanist at school</p>

<p>Classically Trained in Oboe (will also submit arts supplement) for 4 years. School band (won an award freshman year), founded a woodwind quintet at my school, played in a couple professional concerts, taught at a local chamber music camp and plan to again this summer, oboist for a local youth community orchestra (soloist for 2 years, principal oboist next year), I plan to learn English Horn (which is basically another instrument in the oboe family) this summer</p>

<p>Student Government- NHS, chapel committee (but only for one year), School Senate (secretary for 2 years), Spiritual Life Committee (president)</p>

<p>Church- volunteer in the service for the little kids, keyboardist for youth group, member of the ministry team (a group of leaders in the youth group who also do some extra community service)</p>

<p>Hooks:
I am a URM (African American). I'm a legacy at University of Pennsylvania. Both of my parents went there for grad school.</p>

<p>I might be missing a few little things, but that's basically everything! CHANCE ME!</p>

<p>Im pretty sure you are good, but be prepared for rejection if it happens- ivies are so unpredictable</p>

<p>You have a chance, but barring a standout qualification or solid hook, all three schools will be reaches. It all will depend on the persuasiveness, focus, and consistency of your essays and recs.</p>

<p>Since you’re URM, you should be good. Especially at Penn, if you’re legacy. At first glance, I would say the ACT’s a little low, and if you could, I’d retake it, but ECs are good, and that URM status should really help. Just write solid essays and you should be golden.</p>
