Your reply would be greatly appreciated :)

You have solid chances at each, but do you have any safety schools? All those written down are the most competitive…

^
thx for your reply
in regard to safety school, I think I have a very solid chance at getting into Michigan, maybe NW
my dream is still Penn, hopefully I will get in :)

bump 10char

anyhow, any new ideas?

bump 10char

UPenn (ED) - low reach
Duke - low reach

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1034801-yale-penn-chicago-chance-ill-chance-back.html</a>
okay, so you posted a link on my thread, but you did not chance me. so ill chance you, but only if you chance me back!

okay, so applying penn ED is probs the smartest idea for you because you don’t have any stellar ECs. but hey, you’ve got a 32 percent chance so that’s a low reach i’d say. it could be a high match if you bump up those SATs (except for your subjects which are phenomenal), but alas, you’re out of time for that. if you don’t get into penn ed, sorry columbia is not happening, and it will be a waste of your time to apply.
duke - low reach
cornell - low to mid reach
michigan - low match
northwestern - low reach, maybe high match

^
thank you papertank, i will definitely check out those books!

thx again for your tip, for my UPenn ED, i talked about how i saw Penn on youtube and how my dream can be accomplished through Penn, as well as how my attributes are similar to those of Penn’s

for my common app essay, i talked about how an accident transformed me into a caring and responsible person

I have a friend at Penn who applied ED to the SAS class of 2014 with a 2100 and similar stats, though perhaps less extra curriculars. Based on her acceptance, I would say that you have a great chance of early admission to Penn. I’d also think that your other listed schools- except, perhaps, Columbia and Duke with their plummeting acceptance rates- are well within your reach. Good luck!

^
thx for the encouragement  however, i think that the number of applications for ED increased by almost 20% this year, so the acceptance rate’s now become like 26% for early
