My school only offers AP's for 11 + 12.
From 6-9th grades I missed a lot of school due to a medical condition which is cured after years of searching and hard work. But because of it my grades suffered. Although since of my sophomore year, my grades have improved significantly

PLEASE Chance me for: Duke (ED) Tufts, Princeton (legacy), Northwestern, Binghamton, Cornell, Rice, Emory, Vanderbilt, Brown, Carleton, Pomona, Amherst (legacy) and I have some SUNY's but I figure my chances for those are pretty good.

Thanks again

lots of views ... no responses come on guys... i comment on all of your chance threads

The low GPA will keep you from Brown, Rice, Cornell, and possibly Duke/Emory.

I think you will be "matched" at Carleton+Pomona+Vanderbilt+Tufts

Legacy or not the GPA being low will hurt at both Amherst and Princeton.

Northwestern will be a little bit of a reach as well.

Probably IN at SUNY and Binghamton

note that Binghamton is a SUNY--if you live in NY state that could be good on the tuition side of things...

also about that US History SAT II, I'd say you're better off taking other tests in subjects you think you're better at, unless you think you could do really well in with history and want to put in the time to re-study. most schools have those tests as optional, or only look a limited number of them. just my opinion.

Hmm I figured that given my medical situation in 9th grade like missing 46 days of school will be good enough so that some of the "reaches" will take into account why my GPA is what it is...
