<p>Now that my application has been sent in, I need something to occupy me while I wait! I figured I'd do a final chance thread with all my updated stats! </p>

<p>GPA: 3.83/4.00 Unweighted (STRONG upward trend 3.2->3.83)
ACT: 34
Bio E: 740, US History: 700
National Merit Commended Scholar
AP Scholar With Distinction as a Junior
10 APs by the time I graduate</p>

<p>Senior Course load:
AP Chem, AP Stat (Already took AP Calc, and Calc II), AP Lit, AP Econ, AP Gov, Advanced Biotechnology, Peer Leadership</p>

<p>Extra-Curriculars:
Founder of Red Cross Club (very involved) 2 years
VP of Amnesty International 3 years
Peer Leader (selected to be on) 1 year
School Leadership Team (selected to be on it) 3 years
Mock Trial 3 years (18 hours a week)
100 hours as Intern in Hospitals
80 Hours working in a clinic for low income patients
Team Lead for Religious Service Group/worked with Partnership Walk (NPO that raises money for global poverty) 3 years
Tutor students that are struggling 3 years
Work over the summer as a Tutor 1 year</p>

<p>Awards:
Presidential Voluntary Service Award (gold) 3 years in a row (250 hours of service a year)
Mock Trial Outstanding Award at Regional
Mu Alpha Theta - 2nd Place regions for 3 years</p>

<p>Essays should be strong, and letters of rec should be strong as well</p>

<p>I’m not sure I can safely say you’ll get in “for sure,” as quite a few kids with 4.0 GPAs and almost-perfect SAT/ACT scores get rejected every year from JHU, but you’re definitely a competitive applicant. </p>

<p>JHU is probably a high match to a low reach. ED really helps and the only thing lacking on your app is your GPA. Good luck!</p>
