Chance me for JHU ED, will chance back!

I'm applying for Earth/Planetary Science

SAT: M 630, CR 710, W 710
SAT II: Math 2:730 BioE:700
GPA: 96/100

EC: Geology research on Mars rocks at local university, music, rowing, science&math classes at local college, a lot more in school stuff, and most rigorous courses at my school.

Please leave a link so I can chance back. Also, is my math 2 score enough to make up for my s*** sat I score? Thanks in advance!

Anybody? I’d really appreciate the input!

Hopkins: High Reach.

You don’t need me to tell you that your math is a problem. The CR+M middle 50 at Hopkins is over 1500 while yours only sits at 1340. You should definitely retake the SAT and aim for 750-800 CR/M. Believe me when I say your writing is not as important to them.

Your ECs seem pretty shallow to me. While the Mars thing fits with your intended major, you should really be working on getting more into things like that. Look for internships at science-oriented places and keep at it.

Improve all that and Hopkins is still a Reach. Worth the application though.

Retake the SAT’s and such, and you’ll have better chances. I’d say reach right now, but not high reach.
