Chance me for JHU (rising senior!)

GPA 4.84 (weighted)
SAT 1560 (790 ebrw, 770 math)
SATII 800 physics, 800 Math II, 760 USH
5 USH, 5 Lang, 4 chem, 4 physics 1
(taking BC Calc, Lit, Bio, Physics 2, CSA, Psych senior year and self studying both physics c)
ECs are kinda weak, I did my GS gold award, am secretary of my school’s feminist club, do english, math and science tutoring (private and volunteer), am part of some other service/activist clubs at school and do several other smaller service projects in my community every year. I also play the flute in a city youth choir.
LORs are probably pretty decent
essay writing skills are pretty good, but my life is kind of boring so I don’t have much to work with
What do you think my chances are? I’m thinking of applying ED

You have a decent shot ED, but I’d keep your eye out for aid from other schools that are lower ranked but can provide a competitive undergrad experience. If you are dead set on Hopkins and don’t qualify for need aid but still want to go, then look for outside scholarships to mitigate the steep tuition. Good luck!

@SidSub very helpful, thanks. good luck to you too

I think an aspect of your application that needs elaboration is your GS gold award. I believe that this can be a talking point in your application to further some leadership role you accomplished. How impactful was the project that got you the gold award?
