<p>I got deferred from JMU EA (not surprising- still nerve racking though) and want to know my chances of getting in RD. I'm in-state in FCPS.
GPA: 3.51 weighted (mostly due to a bad sophomore year, explained on SSR and essay- it should go up to about a 3.7 at the end of the semester)
SAT:1130, Math 520 Reading 610
Ec's:
Field Hockey (freshman/JV/ Varsity(2 years))
Lacrosse (9th-JV and 10th grade-Varsity)
School Paper editor (1 year as a staff writer and 1 as an editor- nationally recognized paper)
Job at a retail store (20 hours a week junior and senior year)

Art Honor Society (President for 2 years)

<p>Since EA is really competitive than it is understandable how worried you are. But don’t get too nervous. To me, you take a great amount of challenging courses. I feel like you have a good chance in RD however don’t get your hopes up too high, JMU is really unpredictable. As long as you are doing well this year they would fight for you. I want to go to JMU as well! Think positive! I’m trying to lol. Can you chance me back as well? Please!</p>
