-4.0 GPA (UW)/ 4.56 (W)
-All AP Classes/Hardest possible schedule

Would greatly appreciate any chances!

Sorry didn’t mean to post this twice

Anyone???

You have great credentials and a true passion for advocating for breast cancer. Your essays, I assume, will highlight this, and you should make sure that your teachers highlight your passion as well. Admissions to schools like JHU are very competitive, but I think that you would probably stand out to them and improve chances at admission.

Thank you so much for your reply! I will definitely focus my essays on my ECs, and my passion to help others and more specially fight breast cancer for diagnosed patients.

My recommendation letters will be absolutely excellent. They know me very well and I have a stellar relationship with them, so I am sure they will write nicely of me and my achievements.

What other schools are you thinking about?

I am also considering Harvard, MIT, Vanderbilt (close connection to this school;mom used to work here as a researcher), Cornell, Emory, Georgetown, UPenn, and Columbia.

Great list- if you’re looking in the Midwest, WUSTL, University of Michigan, University of Chicago, and Northwestern are great schools. My son narrowed his list to WUSTL, JHU, and Michigan and eventually chose WUSTL (full disclosure).

Thank you so much! I will most definitely incorporate some of those schools onto my final list. I currently reside in the South, and would love to live in another region. The Midwest would be one viable area for me! Again thank you very much for your opinion and help!

I think you have a great chance- but still a crapshoot! Very impressive background!

Really impressive background! You have a very distinct interest and passion for breast cancer, and colleges like students who are passionate about certain and specific things. I think you have a great chance. Just write a good essay and try to get an interview if possible.

Thank you for your replies!

I personally think you will get in. You’ll definitely be a stand out applicant. Of course anything can happen and admissions are kind of a crapshoot. But I would accept you.

Thank you! I really hope I do!
