Chance me for Lehigh?

Hi, I will be applying RD and want to major in engineering.

Keep in mind that I am well aware that this is a reach school. I just want to know how I stand. Thanks!

GPA: 3.67 UW
Top 5% of class.
Took 7 APs and the most challenging schedule offered by my school (one of three students taking the most difficult schedule, if that matters.)

ACT: 31 comp; 34 eng; 31 math; 31 rding; 29 sci

SAT 1930 ss (I know I did bad on it--but I did do better on the ACT, of course.)

SAT2s: 680 M2; 660 Phys.

*Retook SAT2s in December and expect low 700s on both.

No hooks that I know of.

Slightly above average HS in suburb.

Good ECs and good essays.

Hi rubi32,

A good way to assess your chances is to compare your stats to the admissions averages for the latest admitted class:

[Lehigh University: Undergraduate Admissions: Lehigh at a Glance: Class of 2016 Profile](http://www4.lehigh.edu/admissions/undergrad/glance/profile.aspx)

The class profile gives you the average scores - and this should be a good way to assess if your SAT is high enough. I don’t know how your SAT components break down, but you can compare it yourself - Lehigh doesn’t look at the writing section.

It may be a little bit of a reach school for you, but probably not as much as think. Make sure you visit campus and show a lot of interest.

Best,

I personally dont really think its a reach for you. Your stats seem to be on par with mine. Whats your weighted gpa?
Because I have a 3.63 unweighted 4.07 weighted and then a 2040 SAT. And a 710 on sat math 2.
So I mean I feel like were pretty similar. I have a pretty good list of ECs but you said you did too so I mean I think as long as you show interest you have as much of a shot as I do

I think that you’ll get a bid at Pike but definitely not Kappa Sig
