PROPS ON SAT II’s! A little low of a writing score, but that’s a good section to not do so hot in.

NW: A reach, of course, but you stand as good a chance as anybody.
Rochester: A match. Scores are on target, you are where you need to be. While they are selective, I feel good about you getting in.
Emory: Similar to Northwestern. SAT scores there are lofty, but you stand a chance.
CMU: I have a friend going here. You’ll be fine. She was 1st in a class of 405, but her SAT scores were much lower than yours. Again, they can reject, but you have a good shot.
Columbia: As you’re aware, ridiculously selective. SAT scores are a little low, but that’s not the end of the world. SAT II’s are great, and you’re foreign. (Big plus!) It’s difficult for anyone to get in there, but you have a shot.
Harvard: It’s Harvard. It’s HARVARD. SAT’s are low, but Harvard has accepted students in the 1800-2000 range, with a ranking around 15%. (If you check their site, they ask for a ranking in top 10-15%.) They are extremely random, and reject over 1000 valedictorians yearly… Best of luck to you, I’m applying as well!
Swarthmore: Random. Peg it with Columbia.
Wesleyan: Can also be random. Slightly below Columbia difficulty, close to Northwestern.
RPI: Similar to Rochester. I see you in there, but don’t take the difficulty for granted.
Dartmouth: Peg with Columbia. That place is gorgeous, I wish you the best of luck.
