GPA: 4.3
Rank: 12/553 (estimate on total number of kids)
-At the time I sent in my application, I was in the top 2.1% of my class
Scores: 1760 SAT, 29 ACT (horrible standardized tester)

My senior courses include AP Calculus and 3 dual credit college classes.

I have played soccer (JV freshmen year and varsity for the past three years) all throughout high school, I am captain of our pep squad that also works with the special needs children, president of our environmental club, two year member of NHS, and I was cheer captain my freshmen year. I am also a member of a few smaller clubs and leagues at the school. I worked a retail job (at one point two retail jobs) for over a year. I wrote three essays for my application and got two UT alumni to write recommendations (I don't know if this matters).

Bummmmmp. Curious too. I have pretty much the exact same stats as you and a 1770 sat. Get my new score tomorrow though!!! I’m going for mccombs too. Best if luck!

They will more than likely look at your transcript so see the kind of courses you took and how you did. Furthermore, as they fill up their allotted spots (900 i think…), they will come down to your leadership ability. Most students applying to McCombs have good grades, usually high test scores, so the smallest things end up differentiating those who get accepted versus those who do not.

Do not be let down if you do not get into McCombs, though! It’s REALLY competitive to get into and you have other chances later on!

If you really want to get a BBA, definitely look at other programs. Both of you guys can probably can get into the Honors program at Mays (TAMU), so consider that as well.
