THANK YOU

I'd say you have a pretty good shot. Your GPA is kinda slightly on the low side, but it's nothing to worry about. Don't worry about retaking the SAT's, Georgetown doesn't look at writing, for their purposes, you got a perfect 1600! Great job! I'm a lifeguard too. After you're accepted they write in letters highlighting how one of your interests ties in to Georgetown's strengths (dig through CC to see examples. Often it's a sport like tennis or crew). I thought they would have talked to me about debate, but in fact they talked about how much they valued people who worked. The one area I think you should focus some more attention on is demonstrating leadership, and possibly making more of an impact at a state or national level. Your EC list looks a little long. Think of a way to tie it together, lifeguarding, soccer, business, math, and robotics don't really sound like a unified group that shows a passion, and it could be seen as resume padding. But I think your SAT score is a very strong asset.

I think you should retake the SAT... because most schools will consider only your Superscore...

but since Georgetown doesn't consider the writing score (may have changed since last year)... if you're heart is set on here, then there is no need...
