Hi thanks for reading, here's what I have to show:

UWGPA: 3.8

SAT: 2100 (590 CR, 800 M, 710 W)
SAT II: Chemistry 790 Math I 750 Physics 730
AP classes taken: AP Chemistry (5), AP Music Theory (4); going to take AP Bio, AP Physics B, AP Economics (Macro and Micro)

Top 10% of class at a very good Public HS (460 students)
Course load is difficult but not impossible (mostly honors and APs)
Part of National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Science Honor Society
Member of Key Club and French Club
Varsity Cross Country team
Student Tutor
Have been playing recreation baseball for 10+ years and won Sportsmanship Award

I reside in New Jersey, but I have a dual citizenship (US, Canada)

McGill: Aim for 670+ CR if you retake the SAT/30+ on the ACT with 26+ on each subscore (regardless of biochemistry or ChemE; BiomedE is not offered for undergrad)
U Toronto: Match
UNC: Reach
UVA: High match
NYU: High match
UMI: Reach

What’s your problem with Rutgers engineering or NJIT?

I’m thinking that 670+ CR is too difficult for me to achieve because I am truly not a good reader. I may opt to take the ACT though.

As for Rutgers engineering and NJIT, I have no problems with them. They are both good programs, but to be honest I don’t want to stay too close to home.

Also is high match the same as slight reach?
