Your rank and GPA are good. Your math SAT score is on the low end, about the 25% percentile for all engineering (per ASEE). If there is anyway to raise that up, like taking the Sept. SAT, you might consider it. Do consider UT a reach and make sure you apply to some match/safety schools. Also, is IB Math HL calculus?
Yes, it is calculus based. I also took AP Calculus BC and AP Stat this pass year.
That is good. You definitely have the strength of schedule. Again, the only downside I see is the SAT math score. That being said, you just never know with UT admissions. My advice is always treat UT CS/Engineering as a reach because they are inconsistent, based on stats, on who gets admitted. Write a great essay, cross your fingers and apply to other schools.
I would seriously take that SAT one more time before you apply. Is that possible?
I know a similar student with a similar profile who was admitted but offered an alternative major.
