What’s your intended major?

Mathematics

Your SAT II Math 1 score is a little low and not very rigorous for a Math major. Are you going to take the Math II test and any other SAT II’s?

I know a 710 for Math I is not great, but i have tried to mask that through my math-related ECs. I received a 34 on my ACT math and a 32 on my ACT science. I was told by my college counselor that sending the ACT can count for SAT subject tests if I scored well enough, but thank you so much for the advice.

Good luck, daisy!

Michigan does not even consider SAT II scores unless the applicant is home schooled. In the OP’s case, the SAT II are not going to be considered. Besides, a 710 on the SAT II Math 1 is not bad.

This said, Michigan will not evaluate Daisy based on the major she declared, so she need not worry about that.

Daisy, Michigan is a match for you. Nothing jumps out, but you have a solid ACT and good EC. I like your chances.

@Alexandre
Wow I did not know that about Michigan’s SAT subject test policy! That makes me a little less nervous. Thank you so much :)

No problem daisy, now how about babysitting our 7.5 months old son Georges. He can’t crawl or sit down yet, but even then, he is a handful, and at 22 pounds, he makes for a hell of a workout!
