Chance me for Milton, Nobles, Concord

I am applying to Milton, Nobles and Concord all as a day student.
My school doesn't give out GPAs, but my grades aren't as good as they could be since I am very demotivated in school since I am not challenged.

1st trimester 8th grade: Mostly A and A+, a few A-, B+ in math and B- in English. Our school doesn't offer choices for classes except in language, so I am taking 8th grade math, 8th grade English, etc. My language is Chinese this year, and I am fluent in Spanish because I went to a bilingual school for 4 years. My Chinese grade was 131%!

SSAT scores: 73% math, 84% reading, 90% verbal, 86% total. I took them again, but I haven't gotten my scores back yet. I think I did much better, and expect 85-90 in math.

School: Mediocre MA public school.

EC: Internationally competitive Irish dancer, practicing for Worlds in March, team placed 2nd place in Nationals! I've placed 1st at regionals. Never had a solo placement at a major competition.
Just elected student government representative, my hook is leadership and my essays were mostly about dance and my student government campaign
Played violin for 8 years, not on my school's orchestra because it is very low level.
I've been in professional productions at my local theater with adult actors.
On Model UN club, also on Harvard Leadership Club which is a club where Harvard students come to our school and help us with leadership skills
Sports: Cross country
Other: I went to summer camp last year for 7 weeks, shows independence. Camp specializes in sailing, and all three schools have sailing I believe.
Interviews: All went very well.
Recs: I expect good recs from my English teacher because she is the head of student government and just likes me in general, even though she gave me a bad grade...
Math I'm not sure, extra (dance teacher) should be really good hopefully.

I'm not sure if my essays, recs and EC's will compensate for my bad grades...

Oh I forgot to mention, my interviewers from Nobles and Concord both sent me a thank you note that they had obviously written themselves, it was not a form. I don’t know if that’s normal, it probably is. Milton also sent me a thank you note but it was just a form and I assume was sent out to everybody.

For Concord, your SSATs are fine, your performing arts and ECs are great, and your sports are good. You don’t need perfect grades for CA, but it will depend on how your recommendations and school report portray you as a student. The good thing for you is that while you got a B- from one of your recommendation writers, she also knows you well from other things. As for being a day student, some years the admissions rate is higher and some years lower than for boarding. Also, the admissions rate can vary by male/female, with female day reputedly being very competitive most years.

I got my new scores! I am very pleased, with 93rd percentile in reading, 96th in math, 99th in verbal, and 99th overall. Feeling a lot more confident now! By the way I am a caucasian male applying for 9th grade. Feeling a lot more confident now!

Im applying to concord as well. However I didnt get a letter after my letter… I dont know but you seem like a very good applicant. Your EC’s seem excellent! Can you check out my chance post for concord and exeter? Thanks!!
