Hello, I am new to CC and this is my first post. I am a current 8th grader at a public middle school applying for private high school. I have already had 3/4 interviews and tours, as my last one is for Taft. I live in Boston and I am applying as a day student for Milton and Thayer, and as a boarder for Noble & Greenough and Taft. I am scheduled to take the SSATs this December. I will be needing financial aid.

In my school our first term just ended so these are my final grades for the fall term:
Science: 96
Social Studies: 92
English: 94
Spanish 1: 98
Algebra (advanced): 93
Music: 97
Band: 100
Health: 98

List of my EC's and athletics
- Flute (four years now)
- Volunteer at local food shelter when I have the time on weekends
- Volleyball (three years now)
- Track & Field (3 years)
- Apart of after-school literary magazine
- Public speaking (voted top speaker)
- Occasionally tutor kids in the lower grades if struggling

Now for interviews, all three of them went very well. My first one was at Nobles and it very just like a normal conversation and I didn't have any nerves. My next one was at Thayer Academy (day school located in Braintree, MA) and the AO loved me! She was so easy to talk to and she said she could definitely see me attending there next fall. The day after, I had Milton. It really could have gone better as it was a bit ehh. I consider Thayer as my safety with a 38% acceptance rate, highest out of all the schools.

Thank you for taking your time in reading and replying!
