Really motivated to study electrical engineering, especially focusing on embedded systems and analog IC design.

After graduation, I want to join a top Tech company in Silicon Valley. Definitely interested in working on wearable devices.

Why? You’ll know in 8 weeks, and none of our opinions matter.

You have a competitive pedigree, but being an Asian Male from California with a STEM focus and stereotypical ECs is the worst possible demographics. There’s absolutely no way to predict how you’ll do. Your essays and recommendations will be key.

You certainly are qualified but like the above poster said it’s impossible to chance you completely just because of how competitive the schools are. I think you’ll get into one of the four maybe more but I can’t really say which. You are qualified and have done everything you can. Take some time to relax you’ll hear back in the next 8 weeks. Best of luck!

@Djokovic I agree with the other posters; while I definitely think you’re qualified, it’s a crap shoot at this point. Probabilistically speaking, you should be accepted to at least one of the schools. The best solution is to wait to it out and relax/take it easy.

Where did you apply early?

Crapshoots for all of them. You’re qualified, but you are in the absolute worst demographic of applicants out there, which sucks, but well, it’s reality.

You can’t do chances for these schools. It’s all a crap shoot.
