GPA: 3.9; I got a B in gym and are, sigh depressing I know.

<p>I am currently dual enrolled at my high school and University. My outline for this my high school career in math. Pre-calc; calc 1,2,3; Abstract algebra 1,2; Differential equations 1,2; and Linear algebra.</p>
<p>Everything else normal with an A+ in all.</p>
<p>For science College physics 1,2; Modern physics; College chem 1, maybe 2; I've taken bio.</p>
<p>Also for volunteer I'm volunteering at a
-genetics lab; i currently am being taught the processes for DNA and RNA extraction incepting and removal of genes in micro organisms, later this year i will be preforming these tasks solo.
-Neurology lab, helping with research. Possibly a virology lab (supper edited about this one).
-Sadly there is not a good physics dept. or i would go there.
- Also on my own I am building a slow wave CO2 laser, and a miniature fusion reacted (really not that great or hard basically a vacuum chamber with deuterium and electricity.)
-I will be conducting personal research in the near future.</p>

<p>You mentioned you’re Syrian, so I’m assuming English is not your first language. Work on your writing, or the essay portions of the standardized tests will kill your overall score, not to mention the essays on your college apps.</p>
<p>All the science related extracurriculars look good. You must realize of course that getting into MIT is a bit of a crapshoot even with really good scores, grades, and everything else. You do have a chance though</p>
<p>You’re going to have to write fast on those tests too. You won’t score very well if you make that many grammatical errors just because you’re trying to finish in the time allotted.</p>
<p>It appears as if you are on the right track so far, just make sure you indeed get test scores in the region you’re aiming for… it’s not quite as easy as it may seem. </p>

<p>What’s up with the random UK universities? Not really any point in applying there unless you absolutely want to go to England. Also, narrow down your list. You’re just listing top 20 unis. Figure out what you want to major in, and apply to schools that are good in that major.</p>
<p>Assuming you get those scores, your tests and GPA are going to be fine. You have good EC’s, and you need to demonstrate a passion for them in your essays. The only thing that you should be looking for is leadership positions; random community service, while noble, shouldn’t only be done for a college application.</p>
