I know the chances of getting accepted are very low for international students (I think around 3% acceptance rate), but I would really love to attend MIT/Stanford among other great universities I’m applying to.
1)I’m a junior at high school and I have a multicultural European background
2)My Grade average is 91% (predicted is 93%) with 95+% in relevant subjects such as Physics , Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Furthermore I’m in the top 3% of the class (of around 300).
(Only 0.5% achieve a predicted grade of 93%)

4)I have a passion for electronics and I want to major in EECS
5)I’ve competed in several EE competitions and I got 4th place in an engineering /science competition of high school students (around 450 teams) and I’m competing in 3 more competitions this year including the Google Science Fair.
Top 10 in national engineer competition and top 12 in European engineering competition(finalist)
Furthermore I got 2nd place in a national Arduino Competition and top 1000 in Global Arduino Competition
Participated in programs such as MUN and a selective summer School at Imperial College London(18% acceptance rate)
I have done my best to seize every opportunity offered to me since moving into a new high school system 4 years ago.
6)I’m leader of the tech club, I have had some work experience on the field of EE (summer) and I’ ve also worked voluntarily as a math and physics tutor for the past 2 summers .
Will submit an extensive makers portfolio, as well as a performing arts supplement. I have some extra curricular activities, including sailing and magic tricks workshops, but I only do them as hobbies. I also play the guitar.
