CS is run by the Engineering School, so the 7,133 appears to include CS majors.
My kid is a student in the Class of 2022, LSA STEM, so not engineering, and the materials UMich handed all of us last year, which I have here, show 1,363 students (of a class of 6,695) enrolled as engineering undergrads.
