chance me for mit

my grades and test scores are the usual, like perfect ap scores, 800 on all sat iis taken, straight A's, except for one B in ap lit, but im mainly worrying about the extracurriculars.

summer: programmed at Lawrence Livermore Nat Labs on uv ray devices
current, programming at stanford for cell friction and pressure measurement
personal project: wrote a small (2000-2500) line program to simulate electrical circuits (mine is very simple, i just used ideas and equations from stuff i found online, im not hoping to impresses ppl with any "new genius ideas" . i just was interested and did it)
taking linear algebra right now
president for JETS/science/technology club at my school

are these enough to stand out?

oh what the heck, chance me for stanford and caltech and berkeley EE major too then.

Whats you’re GPA and SAT I score?

gpa: 3.96 (only 1 b)
sat I: 2350

What is high school ranking

no ranking, but i would assume at least top 5…

For a person who has attained such high marks in analytical coursework, it strikes me as strange you say “are these enough to stand out?”. What percentile is your SAT? What does that mean? Why don’t you tell us how that then relates to your viability as an MIT aspirant.

You seem like a good fit for Caltech since Caltech loves applicants that demonstrate their passion for science and research. Remember to submit your research paper when applying there! Good luck!
