<p>Yes, almost all of these colleges are highly competitive, but I'd like some insight from my CC peers. Thanks in advance and I'll get back to chancing others asap.</p>

<p>Rice and UCLA i would consider reaches. Your Gpa is a little below their average and your test scores could be a bit better. Your ECs are good and you show that you have are “Focused” with writing, which helps you stand out. </p>
<p>What is your home state? If it is Texas, it is unlikely that you will get into UT (they rarely take anyone outside of the top 10% except at elite high schools). Rice and UCLA are reaches, but you should get into the rest.</p>
