<p>Rice and UCLA i would consider reaches. Your Gpa is a little below their average and your test scores could be a bit better. Your ECs are good and you show that you have are “Focused” with writing, which helps you stand out. </p>

<p>What is your home state? If it is Texas, it is unlikely that you will get into UT (they rarely take anyone outside of the top 10% except at elite high schools). Rice and UCLA are reaches, but you should get into the rest.</p>

<p>Is this your UC GPA? If not, recalculate your UC GPA. Comp Sci at UCLA and UCB is very competitive period let alone OOS. So those are probably reaches. I don’t know about non AQ’s from Texas but I think you have chance there. Rice is also probably a low reach.
