Chance me for my dream school =)

Hey I'm really trying to get into Umich for pharmacy as an out of state student. I'm applying for LSA and preferred admissions into the college of pharmacy. I really want to go to Umich for several good reasons as I think it's the perfect school for me. I'm going to try and hand in my application this weekend to try and get a better edge and I'm curious as to what college confidential people think about my chances! Thanks in advance =D

Umich GPA: 3.9 (unweighted)
ACT: 31 composite (27 writing composite =/) retaking in Oct
SAT: 1930/2400 (1330/1600) got a 10 on the essay if that matters somewhat...retaking in oct.
No SAT II's
No honor courses
AP stat (got a 5 on the exam) and 2 Year AP US in Junior Year
AP Chem, AP Calc AB, and 2nd year of AP US as my "rigorous" courses for senior year

Teacher Rec: Average
Counselor Rec: Above Average
My essays: Above average
My school doesn't rank and my school is fairly well known as a top school of NYC (Bronx High School of Science if you ever heard of it)

-First generation student going to college
-Asian American student
-President of my church youth group
-Was leader of my praise team during junior year
-Silver medal in the National Latin Examination
-Participated in the 2008 Leadership Scholarship Program
-Got an award of servitude in camp
-Participation in a lot of clubs except I don't hold any officer positions.
-100 hours of community service at a hospital

Again thank you all again for taking the time to chance me! I REALLY appreciate it!

I think you have a very good chance. Being out of state will make it more difficult but I would say match or maybe high match.

Match, maybe a little hard because OOS is so competitive. Would you say you took the most rigorous schedule offered at your HS?

No I did not take the most rigorous schedule offered at my HS since my school offers tons of ap classes and I messed up freshman year which is the reason why I wasn’t in any honors or an ap science in junior year.

While I’m not an expert or anything, I think you’ll get in. You’ve got a great GPA, and while your SAT’s arent the highest, you have a decent amount of AP courses and have gotten yourself involved in some good EC’s. Your also coming from a very prestiguous H.S (I know Bronx School of Science, I live in NJ) and it’s no doubt a special place. I think you’ll get it in.
