I am in LOVE with Brown and Stanford (those are my top two by far), and will also be applying to UChicago, Georgetown, Harvard, Wash U, Northwestern, Rice, and George Washington!

GPA: 3.99 weighted (our school counts 4.33 for an A+ and .67 for AP classes and .33 weight for Honors classes)
Freshman year: 3.54 weighted GPA took Geometry Honors, Science 1 Honors, and Spanish 2 Honors
Sophomore Year: 4.2 weighted GPA took Algebra 2/Trig Honors, Science 2 Honors, and Spanish 3 Honors (all A’s this year)
Junior Year: 4.35 weighted GPA took Precalc Honors, AP English Lang, AP Chem, AP Macro, AP Spanish (all A’s this year)
Senior Year Classes: AP English Lit, AP Calc BC, AP Stats, AP Physics 1, Religion 4, AP Spanish Lit
Honors: All Conference Honors (10), National Spanish Exam Bronze Award (9-10), I think AP Scholar w/ Honor (11)
Extracurriculars:
-I started two tutoring organizations, both of them are aimed towards inner-city youth in Chicago, one is aimed at reading and one is aimed at mathematics. So many kids have improved their standardized test scores, and are actually excited about going to school now, and I just feel blessed to be a part of their journeys!
-I started an alumni outreach program at my school where different alums of color are profiled and talk about how my school affected them in their lives, what it was like attending my school as a minority, etc.
-Varsity Swimming Team (Co-Captain for Senior Year)
-Jack and Jill Teen Service Chair and Treasurer
-Math Team (just joined this year lol)
-Club Swimming (have qualified for State and Speedo Sectionals meets)
