I think my essay was fairly good (at least way better than the essays my peer had me read)

If you are in-state for UCs (which you appear to be), you should be okay there. But, you will have some rejections because your moderately low GPA and uninvolved ECs kind of makes you seem a bit lazy and uninteresting.
