Chance Me for my Top Schools (Umich, UNC, etc.) PLEASE

Hi guys, so I’m a rising senior and the stress of college is just about starting to set in (and by setting in, I mean consuming every fiber of my body :/). I was wondering if you guys could chance me for some of the top schools on my list, particularly:

UMich
UNC-CH
UVA
GA Tech
UC Berkeley
UCLA

Looking to major in Applied Math or BME, not quite sure yet (for the purposes of this chance, let’s go with Math)
Oh and heads up, I’m from CA, if OOS factors into any of your chances.

Academic:
GPA: 3.93 UW, 4.48 W
Rank: Top 5% (that’s as far as my school will rank)
SAT: n/a
ACT: 35 (35 E, 33 M, 36 S, 36 R, 9 W), one sitting
SAT II: 700 Chem, 700 USH (I’m super worried these scores will drag my app down big time, should I even send them?)
AP taken so far: Euro (5), Calc AB (4), Lang (5), US History (5), Chem (3, literally had to teach myself this class)
Senior year APs: Lit, Calc BC, Physics 1, MacroEcon, Gov

EC:
4 years of Theatre (bunch of plays, yadda yadda)
Summer Program on Medicine at UCLA (freshman yr)
Summer Program on Advanced Medicine at Johns Hopkins (continuation of the first, but obvi more advanced, soph yr)
Summer Program on Biotechnology at UC Berkeley (junior yr)
100+ hours of volunteer service at UCLA Medical Center
100+ hours of community service (homeless shelter, elderly home, special needs children, etc.)
NHS Tutor for 2 years (english and math)
I’m in a couple clubs, no leadership positions though
Qualified for National Merit Scholarship (from the PSAT)

I’m a pretty good writer, so I should be able to crank out above average essays.

And as far as Recs are concerned, I have two teachers who love me (actually wrote me letters telling me). So I should be set there as well.

PS: Any feedback (and I mean any) would be appreciated. In addition to the chances, if any of you would like to recommend other schools I would certainly love to hear them.

Thank you all in advance and good luck to everyone!!!

Where is your home state and what is your intended major?

I mentioned those…

Thanks for your interest though!

Yeah. It was a look post and I overlooked it. GA Tech should be a match and UMich high match if apply to LSA. UMich does not require SAT2 but would consider it if submitted, but your scores may be not helpful. Finally, you may be qualified for National Merit Finalist. Unless you are eligible to certain company sponsored National Merit Scholarship, it would be hard to say if you are qualified at this point. Most NMF do not receive a scholarship.

UMich - low match
UNC-CH - high match
UVA - high match
GA Tech - match
UC Berkeley - low reach
UCLA - low reach

chance me back?

UMich, GTech, UCB, UCLA - Match/High match

Don’t know about the others.

Edit- My D2 got into UMich, GTech, UCB with similar stats except for a 4.0 uGPA for ChemE. Good luck !

Thanks to all for your help!! Really appreciate it!

@i012575 Your D has the same GPA, ACT score, and major as my D.
UMich CoE is hard to be a match for any OOS students these days due to the low admission rate.

Based on my Ds applications from this past year I can say that UVA and UNC-CH will be reaches (low-mid).

Good luck and don’t stress. I suspect you will have great options in the end.

@billcsho If you don’t mind my asking, what schools did you’re daughter get into and/or eventually choose to attend?

I think you have a solid application! Try better schools like Cornell! Everything you listed besides UVA and UNC is a match I think. Those two are mid to low reaches. You should mention your clubs though. Your 700s are fine. Take Math 2 SAT.

Please Chance

@anon87 My D was accepted to UMich, Northwestern, UIUC, Purdue, UW-madison, and UMin-TC. She is now attending UMich CoE.
