I’m from CD 10 and I am super anxious about my NCSSM application. It is a bit too late at this point to change anything, but it would be nice just to know.

Speech and Debate (Our team was highest ranked in my event at Harvard, placed 7 or so times, 1st alternate to Nats freshman year)

Note: I am retaking the SAT in hopes of a better math score and NCSSM super scores so take that into account

Your speech and debate stuff is amazing, Harvard is a really hard tournament!!! Your transcript looks great. And the rest of your ECs are solid as well.

The only questionable thing is your SAT. Given that you’re in honors precalc you should definitely be scoring higher on the math section, and you probably did (will?) when you retook.

Even with a 2050, as long as you wrote solid essays I would predict a “YES” from NCSSM! Don’t stress it too much, I’m sure you’ll do great wherever you end up for 11/12.
