Chance me for New York University?

I'm a student from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, who has completed high school education. Currently, I'm an American Degree Program student in Inti International College Subang Jaya, Malaysia. I won't be applying for any forms of financial aid. Here are my credentials:

Academics:
9As out of 10 subjects in the Form 5 SPM exam. (Highest national gov exam)
Top 10% in class position in year of Form 5, equivalent to Grade 11 in USA.
Got straight As in PMR exam, during Form 3, or Grade 8 in USA. (PMR is also gov exam)

*The GPA system isn't administered in the Malaysian education system. Gradings are solely on As, Bs, Cs, Ds etc.

Co-curricular:
(2006) a) Platoon Commander in high school Police Cadet, a uniformed body.
b) 4th place in district marching competition, as member of Police Cadet.
(2009) a) Champion in high school English Week Oral Interpretation Competition.
b) Runner-up in high school English Week Duet Acting Competition.

Standardized Tests:

-Writing 640
-Math 550

2nd Attempt SAT 1: -Critical Reading 580
-Writing 660
-Math 590

SAT 2 -US History 780
-World History 710

Advanced Placement -US History 4
-World History 4
-English Language & Composition 4
-Chinese Language 5

*Note: Only two candidates from Malaysia sat for the AP exams this year. I am one of the two. Does this increase my admission chances? AP exams are not popular at all in Malaysia.

Two letters of recommendation from my English language teacher and school principal. Both are pretty strong.

I know my SAT scores are not in the NYU's range, but does this mean my chances are completely gone? Thanks!
