Chance me for Newhouse, please?

What are my chances for getting into Newhouse? I want to major in broadcast journalism.

ACT: 28 (Eng. 33, Math 22, Reading 31, Sci. 26) (Writing 8, Eng/Writing 30)
SAT II: Lit. 680, US History 670, Math I 580
GPA: 3.94 Weighted, about 3.8 Unweighted
AP Tests: US History 4, European History 4. I will be taking Environmental Science, English Literature and US Government this year.

Extracurriculars:
Quiz Bowl (Other schools call it "Academic Team" or something similar), all 4 years. Team Captain for 2 years.
National Honors Society, last two years. I am secretary this year.
Student Council, sophomore and junior years, and I was treasurer junior year.
I was in two school plays.

I don't have a whole lot going for me in journalism experience, but I had to make the decision between Newspaper class and a PE credit, and I need the latter to actually graduate high school.

Also, I have a question. In order for Syracuse to see my test scores, do I have to send them, or is it enough just to put it on the application?

You need to send your scores from the testing agencies!

I was accepted yesterday to the broadcast journalism program at Newhouse! My GPA and scores were well below the average for Newhouse but I did show a lot of interest by taking 2 classes up there this summer, applying early decision, interviewing, and writing excellent essays. I think your chances are pretty good. It is one of the most competitive journalism schools in the country so I wouldn’t be shocked if you received a rejection letter either. Good luck!

My stats:
3.5 GPA
1880 (1190 CR and M) SAT I
26 ACT

Anyone have a second opinion?

If you applied regular decision for Newhouse it could be a stretch since your ACT (if you submitted that) is probably lower than they like and you lack the journalism extracurriculars.
