Chance me for Northeastern? How to improve chances?

Hey everyone! I really like Northeastern University. I'm a junior and wordering what my chances of admission are. It's probably a good idea to keep in mind that my intended major is nursing.

GPA- 3.7 (I take all honors and AP classes)
ACT- 25(I know this will go up because I only took it once without any preparation or test prep at all)
ACT Writing- 9
*I go to a competitive top high school

-I'm a lifeguard and teach my own swimming lessons
-I'm on two varsity swim teams (my school team and a club team in the summer)
-I'm in color guard
-I play the oboe in the honors band
-I'm in the academically gifted program where I complete year-long independent studies
- I've placed in district and national level spanish contests
-I'm in the world language honors club
-I'm in the medical scholars club where I'm vice president
-I'm certified in CPR/AED and first aid
-I compete in the Biology Olympiad
-I spent all summer participating in the teen program at the number one children's hospital in the country (each morning I worked with cancer patients in the oncology and bone marrow transplant units and in the afternoons I attended seminars about different careers in the medical field)
-I worked with the american academy of pediatrics as a teen advocate on a video textbook
- I'm in the National Honor Society
-I'm a team captain for the arthritis foundation's jingle bell walk
-I'm going on a cultural immersion/service trip to Costa Rica this spring

*I am going to write my essay about how I was inspired to pursue a career in the medical field because I have struggled with a disease similiar to rheumatoid arthritis called ankylosing spondylitis since I was 7 and I want to help kids going through similar situations. I'm also going to talk about my experience volunteering and how that further inspired me to go into pediatric health care.

Thank you so much for taking time to chance me/ provide suggestions! I'll definitely chance back =]

Are you good enough a swimmer to swim in division I competition? If so, it should help.

Also, how much are you expected to get on your next ACT sitting?

I think you’re looking good. Especially if you can raise your ACT to a 28 or higher, you’ve got a really good chance of getting into the school.

I looked at the website and I didn’t see any additional requirements for the nursing program (but I only looked for a minute so there might be some)

Good luck!

I think you have very good chances! I’m in marching band myself and I know the kind of commitment an activity like color guard takes, and combined with swimming, you have two ECs there that you’re very involved in, which colleges like so much more than just a long list of a thousand meaningless clubs. Good luck!
