I am currently a junior, and I plan on majoring in business management or something similar to that. I would also want to try and get into an accelerated program so that I could possibly get my Master's in 5 years rather than 6. Do you know any information about that with these schools and if that's possible?

GPA- about 3.73 (unweighted)

SAT- 1770 the first time I took it. I plan on retaking it and raising my math score.
Just math & critical reading was 1,170. I plan on trying to raise that by 100 pts at least.

APs/Honors: Honors U.S. History II, AP Human Geography. Plan on taking AP Enviromental Science and AP Psychology next year.

Extracurriculars: Played tennis all throughout high school, did the stats for the hockey team this year, was secretary of my school's Rotary Club & have been a member all throughout h.s., have had a steady job for a year, in the French Honor Society, in French Club, American Sign Language club for two years, became a member of DECA this year (just placed first place in my category for Regionals and am going to compete in States).

*Also, I don't know if this will help, but I'm going to Eruope this Summer (France, Italy, & Greece) with the People to People organization where I will do community service and become a student ambassador.
^I'm not sure if this will help if put on my college application.

I can say that’s not enough for UNC Chapel Hill. It’s hard to get into these days They get applicants with high scores, strong extra curriculars, and tons of APs. One of the girls in the top 10 at my school was just deferred a few days ago, and she’s a really talented artist and had EXCELLENT recommendations and grades… so you might be underestimating UNC a little…

You definitely have great chances for Northeastern and Penn State - Try and raise your SAT juust a little bit and your chances will be even better.
As for UNC, are you in state or out of state?
if in state, you have good chances.
If not, it’s a bit of a reach, but still a decent chance.
Best of Luck!!!

I’m out of state for UNC, I’m a New Jersey native.
What should I try and get my GPA and SATs to in order to even have a chance at UNC Chapel Hill?

Mediocre scores can get you into Penn State. As long as you’re in like top 30% of your class, you’re pretty much guaranteed. (The majority of people from my HS that got into PSU UPark were average students at best).
