I'm interested in either Pharmacy or Accountant. Pharmacy Programs looks extremely competitive. Was wondering if I have a shot. if not i would apply to the business school.
Talked with the admissions office and they told me that if I am to be rejected from pharmacy, I would be rejected from the school as a whole.

GPA: 3.88 Weighted (school sends weighted scores)
All honors class, a number of APs
Rank : school does not rank
high school: top school in nation
SAT: 2030 (780 Math ,610 reading) waiting for new results
ACT: 30
EC: A good amount nothing spectacular ( Sports Captain 4 years , Volunteer , clubs, etc.)
Essay : Strong Hook (Personal Story)

I’m not an expert, but from what I’ve seen around the forum and from the stats of people who have been accepted, I think you have a decent chance. You’ve got great test scores. I would be kind of concerned about your gpa, but it’s not bad. I found this link in another thread that might help you out and see how you compare.

My weighted GPA is a 4.0, but my test scores are low. They were 590 CR 600 Math and 590 on the writing and 26 on the ACT (low because of the science). I am in the top 15 percent in my graduating class. I have a bunch of ecs and volunteer work. I also had extenuating circumstances my junior year, and am hispanic… if that even helps. Do I have a chance honestly?

for everyone, to properly chance I need to know your UNWEIGHTED gpa - all schools have different weighted systems, and to properly judge your gpa it needs to represented as unweighted.

Not enough info from Johny to really predict.
If you don’t know your uw gpa you should know how much your hs adds to your grade for honors and AP course - some high schools add 0.5 and some add 1.0.

If Johny’s school adds a full point, then the adjusted GPA that Northeastern will calculate from his transcript will probably be too low. Assume 50% of his classes were honors - that would give him an adjusted gpa of 3.0 - not good for Northeastern.

You should also have a range of where you stand in your class - top 10%, top 20% etc.

I am curious how Johny’s knows that his high school is “top school in nation”.

what do you think my chances are if i applied as a Physical Therapy major and my gpa is 3.9 weighted and 3.8 unweighted and sat scores are an 1800. I am also an EMT and captain of varsity soccer and softball. There are no class ranks at my school

yeah i was about to say the same thing lol but as for you j0hnny i think your stats look pretty good although im not sure about applying to pharmacy mainly because from what I have heard it is very competitive but I think your grades/ECs/SATs will give you a good chance. Try to see if you can find more info about it but aside from that i think you have a good chance!!
