Chance me for Northwestern ED

Hey!

I’m an incoming senior in High School, and I’m pretty much looking for just a little bit of perspective in where I stand admission chances. I’m mainly interested in Northwestern(Medill), where I’m planning on applying early decision for, but I’d also appreciate chances for other schools I’d apply to RD, namely U of I, USC, and NYU. I’d also appreciate feedback into what I could do these last few months to improve my odds beyond just writing a good essay.

-short explanation on recs/essays
Haven’t started yet. Haven’t decided how bold I want to be with my essays just yet.

You’re a mid-reach for Northwestern… but that’s because Northwestern is just that competitive (despite you being ED)

U of I- you have a great chance of getting in! I would say this is the school that you have the best chance at.

USC- you are a reach for this school. It’s pretty competitive but you still do have a good chance of getting in.

NYU- same as USC.

You have a decent shot at Northwestern ED, I would say it is a low reach for you. U of I is a match as well as NYU Cas, but USC is probably also a low reach. You have the stats for all these schools, its just the competition has risen recently and its hard to predict acceptances. Good luck!
