Hello!

I am a white male from New Jersey. I go to a highly competitive public magnet school, where I am specializing in economics. I have taken a full load of IB courses, as well as AP Calculus AB and AP Psychology courses, along with a list of interesting electives and college level courses.

That being said, my GPA is fairly low.

Freshman Year: 3.45 (all A's except for B in Biology and Math)
Sophomore Year: 3.81 (one B+ in Chemistry, and one B+ in Physics- everything else A)
Junior Year: 3.9 (all A's- 97 in Econ- with an A- in Math and Physics)
This equates to about a 3.72ish UW- i know its low for NU, but my school is insane

ACT: 34
SAT II: Math 2 (750), Spanish (740)

My intended major is in Economics.

Extracurriculars:

Editor for school Law journal

Conducted Original Economic research (guided by NU professor)
250+ hours of community service (winner of Presidential Award for Community Service)
I am also a tutor, and I volunteer at the local library
Two Internships (relevant to business/econ).

Ok, those are my stats. I know my GPA is very very low, but I hope the upward trend helped! In addition, I have excellent teacher recs (econ teacher), and I have a very well written essay. I am the most worried about GPA, and the fact that I am an overepresented race from an overrepresented state. I am the only one from my school applying ED to Northwestern, and I really really hope I have a shot!

Don't forget, I am applying ED- the chances nearly triple.

Thank You in Advance- I appreciate it.
