Chance me for Northwestern, UPenn, and Georgetown!

Hello!
It is safe to say that I am not the strongest applicant. Though my ACT is a 29 (but have above 29 in every category at least once)-- I have many extra curricular's.

Unique Feature:
I have been featured on TLC's extreme couponing and also German TV for the same thing. I coupon to supply for my family and donate to charities regularly. I have also won the Kansas City area Young Achiever Award from FOX for my donating.

My brother received his doctorate from Northwestern, and I hope to attend myself in the International Relations department while also studying economics. I went to the economics for leaders program this recent summer, and also did programs like HOBY and Boy's State.

I am a white male.

Please chance me!

Hmm. you have some pretty cool EC’s but because of that ACT score, they are all reaches. You do have a really good GPA though. I think you have a chance still, the ACT scores don’t put you out of the running. They are just reaches. I heard someone ask once if he could get into Rice with a 3.0 and below 500’s on every section of the SAT lol.

Thank you! I am taking the ACT one last time this month, hoping to bring my composite to at least a 30, hoping for 31 of 32 though!

bump!

I think all three schools will be reaches despite your awesome GPA. The ACT will be more weighed than your ECs. If you can raise the score to a 31-33, you are golden for admission! Also, for now, it may be better for you to apply ED to NU.
