Chance me for Notre Dame, Northwestern, JHU, UVA, Cornell, Dartmouth, WUSTL

Notre Dame is my first choice, and I have safeties I didn’t include on this list. My advisor tells me there’s nothing that really sets me apart. (He’s harsh, but I get it - no national awards, etc.) Tell me what you think…
3.95 uw gpa, Most rigorous coursework offered at my school including 9 AP’s all 5’s, 36 ACT, SAT Subject Math 2- 800, Physics-800, Eagle Scout, Captain of the sailing team, varsity track, some community volunteering, tutor, Catholic, white male, majoring in engineering.

Can you be a bit more specific with your ECs? It looks as if you’d be a decent candidate since you are considering schools a tier below HYPSM. You’re obviously really intelligent, but I agree, there is nothing that makes you extremely unique. Just work on those essays and portray your passion for engineering. I know some kids with the same stats that got into similar level schools, so there is still hope.
