Pretty nervous.

Senior Year Course Load: AP Calc AB, AP Bio, AP Chinese, Honors Sociology, Honors Studio Ceramics, Honors World Literature (Everything at our school is either honors or AP)

ECs:
Member of Key Club since Freshman year
Member of multiple cultural dance groups that perform for the school
Track and Field Freshmen Year
Cross Country Sophomore Year (stopped running because I disliked our coach)
Volunteer:
Key Club, so volunteering almost every weekend.
I have over 300 service hours.
Volunteered at a social service agency over the summer and helped. Did a lot of things an intern would do.
Summer Activities:
^That social service agency volunteering
Participated in a Chinese language learning program over the summer at DePaul called STARTALK
Essays: Pretty confident about my CommonApp one. Lots of people said that it was creative and something they would've never thought of.
Supplement essay is a bit iffy. I took a more social approach to the school instead of focusing more on the programs.
Teacher Recs:
They were probably great because both teachers I asked are heads of their departments, math and science.
Counselor Rec: I never really talked much with him, so I have no idea what's going with that.
I'm from Chicago, and a lot of people from my school apply to NU, with better test stats.
Asian Male.
First generation college student as well.
Do I have a chance?

You have a decent shot. Your first generation status should help along with your class schedule. Your GPA is a tad low (so is mine) and competition from your own school could hurt. My school has 20+ kids applying to NU. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply!
That’s what’s worrying. Around 9 or so kids from my school already got into NU in the ED round.

I don’t think that Northwestern superscores the ACT.

What is your highest composite?
