chance me for nyu and others, will chance back!

<p>Hi, I'm a white Jewish female in 11th grade. I go to a magnet type school for business that's within a high school that is extremely selective. Please tell me my chances for NYU Stern, UCBerkeley, Brandeis, MIT Sloan, UMich Ross, and Boston University. My dream school is NYU, however, and I will ED for it.</p>

<p>GPA:
unweighted: 3.82 out of 4.0
weighted: 4.66 out of 4.6 (my school has an odd system, not sure what my weighted on a 5.0 scale is but technically the highest score here is 5.6)</p>

<p>Class rank: 14/615</p>

<p>ACT: did not take it, but every practice test so far i've gotten a 32/33
SAT: will not be taking</p>

<p>SAT IIs: will be taking Math 1, Physics, and US History. I expect to score decently well</p>

<p>Courses: I have gotten only 3 b's in any class, otherwise everything is an A
tons of honors courses like a lot including many business oriented ones due to the business program I'm in</p>

<p>AP: I expect to get a 4 or 5 in each
Macro and Microeconomics
US History
Literature
Euro
Spanish</p>

<p>Essays and recs will be very strong</p>

<p>EC's:
-President and founder of my school's Harry Potter Alliance chapter (it's a charity)
-National Honor Society member (120+ hours of community service)
-Published poet in a literary magazine
-3rd Place winner in 10th grade and Top 25 winner in 9th in a very highly recognized economics competition, and I plan to be on the team for 11th and 12th grade where I expect we will continue to do well
-Treasurer of DECA, Top 10 in the state for my event in 10th grade (likely to do well again in 11th and 12th)
-FBLA 5th Place in my state for my event in 10th grade, 7th in region in 9th grade (likely to do well again in 11th and 12th)
-Committee Member of an assembly program, I will be head of it next year but right now I'm second in command
-1st Place winner of a business competition in my region
-Member of another business competition in my region in 10th grade, and I expect to be on team again for 11th and 12th
-Member of a national highly recognized economics team, we haven't competed yet this year but usually we get very far, expect to be on it for 12th grade also
-Member of my school's Literary Magazine
-Dancer since 2009</p>

<p>will chance back, thanks!</p>

<p>Definitely very impressive! Why not consider Wharton (UPenn’s business school)?
To set you apart, why not do something outside the realm of competitions? Use your business skills and apply it more into the real world? Maybe intern or go on international project trips that allow you to use your business skills in humanitarian efforts?</p>

<p>Otherwise, you are definitely on the right track! Best of luck in your future pursuits.
Chance me if you feel like it: <a href=“http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1600341-chance-read-my-college-essays.html[/url]”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1600341-chance-read-my-college-essays.html&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

<p>This is a very good resume! You will definitely get into NYU and you could actually reach for higher schools with a resume like this! If you are interested in business and might want to apply to Wharton, take high level math classes. A friend of mine recently got into Wharton and he’s in Calculus BC as a HS Senior along with AP physics. Wharton loves students with a highly proficient level of math. </p>

<p>Chance back!: <a href=“BigFuture College Search”>BigFuture College Search;

<p>I’ve considered Wharton, but I’m not a big fan of living in Philadelphia.
I’ve wanted to do those humanitarian trips but sadly I cannot afford them</p>

<p>NYU Stern - Low Match - You should definitely get into NYU!
UCBerkeley - Low Reach
Brandeis - I have no clue
MIT Sloan - Reach
UMich Ross - High Match
Boston University - Low Match</p>

<p>This is assuming you do well on the ACT.</p>

<p>Good luck!</p>

<p>NYU Stern: match
Berkeley: low Reach/Reach
Brandeis: match
MIT Sloan: Reach
Michigan Ross: high match
BU: low match/match</p>

<p>Good luck!</p>
