<p>White male from Connecticut, no need for financial aid</p>
<p>Overall UW GPA: 3.58 with a big upward trend (3.22 freshman year, 3.64 sophomore year, 3.89 junior year. )</p>
<p>My school neither releases class ranks nor weights GPAs</p>
<p>SAT Score (retook October 1st and am expecting an increase of at least 50 points) 2010... 680 CR, 640 math, 690 writing</p>
<p>APs: Government (3 on the AP test... yes/no to sending that score?), Spanish Language, English Language, European History, Environmental Science</p>

<p>You’ve definitely got a shot, just get your SAT math up, as it stands right now, it barely breaks the 25th percentile. I wouldn’t worry too much about your GPA, while in the best case scenario you’d have 4.0’s across the board, colleges also look favorably on a strong upward trend, plus, most colleges don’t really scrutinize your freshman year GPA.</p>
<p>best of luck, I think if you do well on your SATs and get your scores to around 2100 you should have a decent shot at ED NYU. Also, I have the same senario with my upward GPA trend over the years except my GPA is much lower lol. Once again, GOOD LUCK!! chance me back </p>
<p>I think your chances are very good for early decision. Your SAT scores are a little low for the regular decision, but the ED will absolutely work in your favor. I would say its a match as an ED school, but a high match/low reach as an RD school! Best of luck, hope you get in!</p>
