Chance me for NYU im kinda desperate...

<p>Alright so I keep looking at all the threads on here from last year about decisions and everyone stats seem to be better than mine and they all got accepted so please if you could help it'd be appreciated...btw this is for CAS.</p>

<p>Ranking- 117/946...top 13% in a very competitive program in an already competitive school</p>

<p>EXTRA CURRICULAR- CLOSE TO NONE, LATIN CLUB, AND SECTION LEADER OF INTERMEDIATE ORCHESTRA</p>

<p>LETTERS OF REC- PRETTY GOOD (LATIN TEACHER, ENGLISH TEACHER, COUNSELOR)</p>

<p>ESSAYS- I'D SAY FAR ABOVE AVERAGE</p>

<p>*I feel like my scores are going to be my downfall even though an admissions lady told me the school is now sat optional and every factor is considered.....and yes this is my dream school but not in the sense of omg new york...i already live here that's not why I want to go here and i wrote about that in my supplement for Why NYU?

<p>ECs, You say yours are weak. I’m not 100% sure I agree, depending on how much time your music takes up, but it won’t blow anyone away.</p>

<p>Recs/Essays – No way to evaluate. To be honest, people rarely post “My recommendations suck and so does my essay.” But we have no reason to doubt you.</p>
