Essays/Supplemental's:
All essays and supplemental essays were extremely unique, humorous and perhaps the better essays I have written in my life. Related my life to Alice in Wonderland and how troubling it was to adjust to my new school district.

LoRs:
Somewhat weak by my S.S. teacher of last year (asked him last minute [only reason why])
Guidance Counselor (Extremely strong. Describes my trouble adjusting to the school and how I have matured this year a lot and have become more focused).

In January, I will be asking my current physics, s.s. and english teachers for rec's for NYU-poly. These will be extremely well written. One of them will be by a professor from Hofstra describing my performance in a College Credit class (ACE program by Stony Brook) and how well I have done; Physics ( my A+ average); English (basically what my guidance counselor wrote).

Hooks:
None besides me being the first person in my family to receive a proper education in the U.S. But, my parents did go to Medical School in Pakistan.

Income/Location:
Upper Middle Class or Lower Upper Class.
Pakistan Born, U.S. Raised. Currently living in NY.

Going to bump this thread before I go to sleep. Any feedback is appreciated. My scores kind of make me an outlier with my crap GPA. School wasn’t a priority for me before, it was more adjusting to the school than doing well in the classes. Stupid mistake.

Bumping again before I go to school.

LSP picks you, you don’t pick it. Unfortunately, you’re not the type I’ve seen admitted by NYU into the program. Frankly, your profile says you’re smart but lazy. LSP admits are much more likely to have high GPA/low SAT, a profile that says I’m not the strongest academically but I’m a hard worker so I’ll do well after remediation.

@Waverly: On the Common App, they ask what is your preference or something/will you be consider tab there is an option for LSP.

But thanks.

@Waverly: my bad. You can actually now apply directly to LSP. This makes it bad for me D:

Anyways BUMP~

Going to try to go up 100 points on my SAT this november break. legggggo
