How is your class rank? Your GPA is near the 25th percentile at UMich while your SAT score is within the mid 50, it is still a reach.

@billcsho our school doesn’t do class rank, but I’m guessing better than 50/600.
My gpa junior year with 6 APs was a 4.00/4.00 (which is like 10/600) so I’m hoping that can help me, but I didn’t do well freshman or sophomore year

If you are within the top 10% of the class while your GPA is 3.75, your school may have pretty tough grades. That may help your chance a little bit.

@richardye1 I can tell you that for Penn the average GPA is around 3.93 and the average SAT is around what you have, maybe a bit higher. your ECs are good. Penn, Columbia and Chicago are definitely high reaches for you.
