I have no leadership positions which sucks but I should have at least 1 or 2 when senior year starts, since we elect officers in September/October.

Please chance me for Stern ED and Stern RD. I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

for ED your stats might be quite competetive, but for RD your lack of leadership positions might be in the way.. if you know u want to go to Stern, do ED, you get much higher chance of admission, and plus you get relieved from all the stress so much earlier.

Couldn't Figure out how to edit my original score, since I left my SAT II scores out.

Here they are:
Math Level 2 780
U.S. History 710

You look pretty good to me. I didn't have much leadership and I got in fine.

I think you have really good stats, smarty-pants, but you never know with Stern. Do ED if it's your 1st choice, cause that'll help. And, work on that application a lot, because it'll help you stand out. G'luck :)

Thanks molly4190, I'm about 90% sure I'm applying ED, since it is my #1 choice and my parents are willing to pay.

I was just wondering if NYU is need-Blind?

It aint.

But ur in anyway,

ED will increase your chance significantly that is for sure.

Bump 10char

Bump!!!!!!

NYU is need-blind, what are you talking about...

Does anyone know who is right, som1 or bimachris?

They original question was whether NYU is Need-Blind.

can't answer the need-blind or other financial stuff, but with regards to chances, i think NYU is a match, ED or RD. if you can't improve on the SAT in your retake, your ACT is already pretty good. good luck chunkie.

can't let your thread go without chancing you. after all, somebody whose cc name starts with "chubee" should relate to somebody "chunkie"... :)

"Do you ever have to turn away gifted prospective students because of lack of financial aid resources?

In admissions, we are need-blind, which means that when we make an admissions decision, a family’s ability to pay is not part of that decision."
